Gender Pay Gap Report 2026
Eyre & Elliston Limited is an independent electrical wholesale distributor with 61 strategically located branches across the UK.
Under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017, Eyre & Elliston Limited is required to publish gender pay gap information on an annual basis. This statement relates to the snapshot date of 5 April 2025.
Understanding our gender pay gap
Gender pay gap reporting measures the difference between the average earnings of men and women across the organisation. It is different from equal pay. Eyre & Elliston Limited is committed to ensuring that employees are paid fairly for the role they perform, taking into account skills, experience and qualifications. Gender is not a factor in our pay decisions.
Our 2025 gender pay gap figures are as follows:
Hourly pay
- Mean gender pay gap: 1.9%
- Median gender pay gap: 1.1%
Bonus pay
- Mean gender pay gap: -59.2%
- Median gender pay gap: 33.3%
Proportion of employees receiving bonus pay
- Men: 40%
- Women: 13%
The proportion of men and women in each hourly pay quartile is:
- Upper hourly pay quartile: 89% men, 11% women
- Upper middle hourly pay quartile: 90% men, 10% women
- Lower middle hourly pay quartile: 83% men, 17% women
- Lower hourly pay quartile: 92% men, 8% women
These figures reflect the current structure of our workforce, which remains predominantly male across the business. As an electrical wholesale distributor, a significant proportion of roles within our sales and commercial teams are held by men, which also contributes to a higher proportion of men receiving bonus payments. Female employees are represented across the organisation, including in central support functions, and we recognise the importance of continuing to build a diverse workforce at all levels.
Eyre & Elliston Limited appreciates the value of recruiting, developing and retaining talented employees and remains committed to providing equal opportunities for all. We will continue to monitor our gender pay gap data and support a workplace culture that is fair, inclusive and based on opportunity for everyone.
I confirm that the data reported is accurate and meets the statutory requirements for gender pay gap reporting.
