Eyre & Elliston Ltd has strengthened its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence by partnering with Sustainable Energy First and joining its Sustainable Energy Consortium (SEC).
The move supports Eyre & Elliston’s ongoing focus on reducing energy costs, improving efficiency and lowering carbon emissions across its nationwide portfolio of trade counters, warehouses and offices. By joining the SEC, the business gains access to specialist expertise in energy procurement, management and sustainability strategy – enabling a smarter, more responsible approach to energy use. This includes ensuring that the energy sourced through the partnership is derived from fully traceable renewable sources.

As part of the collaboration, Eyre & Elliston Ltd also completed the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), a mandatory energy assessment programme designed to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cut carbon emissions. The assessment delivered valuable insight into how energy is consumed across the business and highlighted practical, cost-effective measures to support long-term sustainability improvements.

Through its work with Sustainable Energy First and the SEC, Eyre & Elliston Ltd is:
