This flexible electrical power cable features cores made up of fine stranded copper conductors, each surrounded by colour-coded PVC insulation for easy identification. The cores are further protected by a final outer layer of PVC sheath or jacket. The cable is constructed with plain annealed copper conductor, PVC insulated two core twisted together, and PVC sheathed. It is certified to BS6500, 4.0mm² to BS7919, CENELEC HD21.5, VDE 281 standards. The conductor is Class 5 flexible plain copper conductors to BS EN 60228:2005. Standard colours include Green/Yellow, Black, Grey, Blue & Brown for cores and Black for the sheath. Voltage rating is 300/500 Volts, with a temperature rating of 0°C to +60°C. The cable is RoHS compliant and suitable for general purpose outdoor use in dry conditions, such as lawnmowers, power tools, washing machines, spin dryers, and refrigerators. However, it is generally unsuitable for outdoor use or industrial applications.
