The Mita OVL12 White 12mm Oval Conduit 3mtr is a moulded and extruded product made from high-impact, self-extinguishing rigid uPVC. The PVC compound used by Mita in manufacturing conduits and trunking is composed of Polyvinyl Chloride, with no added organic plasticizers. It is based on a Calcium/Zinc stabilizer, with inert fillers and pigments as the only other major constituents. All PVC compounds are fully ROHSS compliant. PVC is a self-extinguishing material, meaning it will burn in the presence of an outside combustion source, but will self-extinguish when the source is removed. The PVC compounds used by Mita meet the self-extinguishing requirements of British Standards BS6099 and BS4678, and European Standards EN 50085 and EN 50086. The PVC compound complies with the American Underwriters Laboratory Standard for Safety UL 94, Class V-0. Rigid PVC products in the Mita range have high levels of UV stability due to the polymer formulation and production processes.
