The 10mm Tri Rated cable in red features a PVC outer sheath and is a high temperature, flame retardant cable specifically designed for use in switch control, relay, and instrumentation panels in power switchgear applications. It is also suitable for purposes such as internal connectors in rectifier equipment, motor starters, and controllers. Tri-rated cable, also known as BS 6231 cable, H07V2-K, or panel wire, is constructed with a Class 5 flexible copper conductor according to BS EN 60228 (previously BS 6360). The insulation is made of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Type TI3 in accordance with BS EN 50363, with a nominal voltage U-750 V and U0-450 V. The cable has an AWG size of 8 and a nominal cross-section conductor of 10 mm².
