These cable ties feature width, length, and head area with ratcheting mechanisms for secure locking during bundling. Nylon offers a balance of properties including strength, stiffness, high service temperature, and toughness. Nylon cable ties are highly resistant to impact, have low friction, and excellent abrasion resistance. They are resistant to fuels, lubricants, and most chemicals but vulnerable to certain agents. General-purpose nylon is suitable for practical applications up to 85°C. Nylon 6/6, commonly used for cable tie production, meets UL 94V-2 flammability ratings with a working temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
