The Unicrimp QTB550H is a 550mm x 8mm black cable tie. This cable tie, made from polyamides (Nylon 6/6), features a ratcheting mechanism in the width, length, and head area for secure locking during bundling. Nylon offers a balanced combination of strength, stiffness, high service temperature, and toughness. Nylon cable ties are highly resistant to impact, have low friction, and excellent abrasion resistance. They are resistant to fuels, lubricants, and most chemicals, but vulnerable to phenols, strong acids, and oxidizing agents. Suitable for various practical applications, general-purpose nylon can withstand continuous temperatures up to 85°C. Nylon 6/6, commonly used for cable tie production, meets UL 94V-2 flammability ratings and has a working temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
